Spanish fashion retailer Zara is expanding its service to sell, repair or donate second-hand clothes in several European countries from 12th December, the company said, as the market for used apparel grows.
The ‘Pre-Owned’ service is already accessible in the UK and France via Zara’s physical stores, website, and mobile application.
Next, it will be released in the following countries: Finland, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Germany, Austria, Belgium, and Spain.
Owner of the company Inditex has stated in the past that it wants to assist cut down on waste and raw material usage while also extending the life of consumers’ Zara clothing.
There are other fast fashion companies that sell goods for resale, such Zara’s primary rival H&M.
